Description

The new Kaytee revolving menu fortified ferret diets are specially formulated to meet the unique nutritional needs of ferrets true carnivores. Ferrets no longer have to eat the same base diet every day. You can now rotate between two high protein meat based formulas for maximum flavor variety without causing digestive issues or stomach upset. Contains real chicken or real turkey for great taste, high quality, highly digestible poultry protein, includes whole egg – an ideal protein with added taurine to assure optimal health of eyes, cardiovascular system and central nervous system. The formulas are rich in fat (20% fat content) needed to support the active ferret – a ferret’s primary energy source that also promotes healthy skin and coat. Flax seed and fish oils (through fish meal) contribute a high level of omega-3 fatty acids.

Feeding Instructions

Due to a ferret’s rapid metabolism, high-quality food and fresh water should be available at all times. Adjust the amount of food provided depending on your ferret’s age, weight and activity level. Adjust as necessary. For best results, provide one can in the morning and one in the evening. If this food is new to your ferret, it may take a few days to acclimate, so slowly add to its diet over several days by blending the old and new foods.
